Limnologic Director

Carla Littlejohn (BAppSci, MPhil)

Carla Littlejohn is an environmental scientist with 25 years of professional experience in integrated catchment management, lake / waterway restoration, water quality, stream and reservoir, hydro-ecology and environmental policy and legislation. Carla has a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Philosophy (limnology). Carla’s project experience includes preparing and consulting on catchment management strategies and plans, mutli-criteria analysis using GIS, the design and implementation of water quality monitoring programs, provision of strategic water policy related advice, environmental impact assessment and various water quality, limnological and hydro-ecological investigations.

Relevant project experience includes preparation of catchment management strategies and plans, the design and implementation of water quality and aquatic ecology monitoring programs, lake management and rehabilitation studies and various water quality, limnological and hydro-ecological investigations and research (including rivers, lakes, estuaries and wetlands).

LimnoLogic is a privately owned environmental consulting firm specialising in limnology, catchment management, ecosystem health and environmental impact assessment. We recognise the importance of ecologically sustainable development and work collaboratively with our clients to develop logical and practical solutions aimed at protecting, restoring and enhancing ecological functioning at the local and regional scale.

As a small company, we provide niche services to a range of state and local government, water utility and private industry clients. We have also developed strong working relationships with a number of small environmental consulting firms in order to provide a broad range of integrated catchment and waterway services including; water quality monitoring and modelling, riparian vegetation and landform assessments, mapping and GIS and water sensitive urban design (WSUD).
